“It won’t work!” “It can’t work!” “No way, no how!” So basically what we are really holding in mind, is, “What’s the worst that can happen?” Clearly this is not how an article should begin if it is titled Only the Best. And yet, this is what most of us are doing, most of the time. We give ourselves reasons and excuses of why we can’t or shouldn’t “have, be, or do” something we would really like to “have, be, or do.” If we see that we our holding in mind fear, lack, and negativity, it’s only because we haven’t trained ourselves to focus on best-case scenarios and on being a winner in all areas of our lives. We focus on limitations because we think it’s safe. What we are actually holding in mind and unknowingly creating are unwanted situations because we aren’t discriminating. In order to create “only the best” outcomes, we need to hold that in mind at all times. Remember, what we hold in mind, is what we get.
The mind creates both constructive and destructive things because it is only creative. Believe it or not… we have an equal amount of fear and AGFLAP in our having, doing, or being in relation to “only the best” as we do to not having these things. Why, because we aren’t used to playing in the ballpark of being a winner in all areas of our lives. Many folks think that they can’t have the best or it’s not possible. Some folks decided to settle in some way; while others have completely given up their dreams and aspirations. Notice the energy in thinking in this way. Our energy feels heavy and gloomy. Certainly this way of thinking is not leading us towards “having, being, or doing” the best in any area of our life. If we keep focusing on the worst, we are creating more of what we don’t want. We are also choosing to remain stuck in a negative cycle. The habit of protecting ourselves with fear is one that can be conquered. Holding in mind fear and worry, is only creating more fear… and more worry. Fear is not helping us to have, do, or be the best in anything. Fear says, “No, you can’t or shouldn’t…and we immediately feel defeated. These thoughts, which we created, were created in fear. These thoughts are what is keeping us from experiencing “only the best.”
Ok, so let’s move forward. Right this second let’s begin doing something different. Let’s ask, “What’s the BEST thing that can happen today?” Or, “What’s the BEST that can happen in this situation?” Just by focusing on positive, we find that YES we can experience a multitude of goodness; at anytime and in any situation, just by changing our focus. In looking at things differently, we begin to see that there is no limit to happiness and success. When we focus on only being positive and on our experiencing only the best we are seeing things from a positive point-of-view. We are seeing things related to having, being, or doing as abundant and successful. When we focus on, “What’s the best…?” we find all of the goodness that we are seeking, is truly inside of each of us. Instead of seeing the worst of what we are holding in mind, we made a conscious effort to begin to see “only the best.” In looking at things positively, the obstacles were removed; simply because we changed our focus. “Only the best” is easily possible and readily available, the minute we choose to look at things positively.
It would do us all some good to begin practicing, “What’s the BEST…?” on a regular basis. As we focus on positive, we are creating a positive shift in our thinking, and therefore, creating more positive experiences. As we make better choices, we see that we are capable of enjoying a better life. Life is a decision! By choosing to move out of the role of victim, and into the role of victorious, we notice as our point-of-view changes, so do the results. By practicing “having, being, or doing”, only the best, we see that we are worthy and deserving of having abundance, being happy, and that we can enjoy anything we choose to do. You experienced that being positive is a state of mind by imagining “What is the best…?” In thinking positively, you made a decision, and then agreed to having “only the best” possible results. Notice you didn’t settle. Now imagine thinking “only the best” about your relationships, your finances, and your health each and every day. Certainly this way of thinking is creating a life other than what you currently are experiencing. Notice how you feel just by changing your focus.
In learning the Release® Technique method, you are given an opportunity to make the best decisions, for you, at all times. The rules that we have been playing with up-until-now are being challenged. By learning to see “only the best,” in all situations, requires our having the skills to support this way of thinking. Our choices influence what we have or don’t have. If you are not experiencing an “only the best” lifestyle, perhaps it’s time to challenge yourself to seeing things in this manner. The next time a situation arises… you can choose to panic and be stuck in fear, or you can challenge yourself and look for the best in the situation. When we live in a world of “What’s the best…?” that’s what we are creating. The first step begins when we step out of our comfort zone. By holding onto the rules we learned as children, is our holding onto rules, that no longer apply to the person we are today. Make a decision to experience the best, “only the best” and that’s what you’ll experience.
